Our Mission

Safe Families for Children is a movement fueled by compassion to keep children safe and families intact. As followers of Christ, we take God’s example of our adoption into His family and portray similar love by providing safe homes and support systems for children and parents during times of crisis.

Our Families

When a crisis strikes, many of us rely on relatives and friends for support. But for some families, poverty and social isolation mean that they have no support when they need it. Often, a straightforward problem such as post-partum depression or unemployment can be debilitating. Children in these situations often suffer neglect or abuse; some eventually are removed from their home and placed in state custody.

We accept and welcome any family to either request a host family or be a host family. Not only do we need host families, but we also are looking for family coaches, church connections, and resource friends. No matter what your family structure may be, we have a place for you to serve.
